Cookies are small files a website keeps in your browser; websites can also keep things in your browser's storage. This page says what ours keeps, and why.
The short version
This website doesn't use cookies to track you. There are no analytics, advertising or social media trackers on it, and its fonts and pictures come from our own site, not from other companies. That's why it doesn't ask you about cookies.
What we keep, and why
The law lets a website keep what's strictly necessary for something you've asked for without asking first. Ours is:

The two for accountants are kept only if you're a business's accountant and use the pages for you. When the customer portal opens, signing in there will keep a sign-in in your browser too; that's strictly necessary as well, and we'll list it here.
Anything else needs your yes first
Nothing else, today. If we ever add something that isn't strictly necessary, such as visit statistics, we'll list it here and ask you first, with “Accept” and “Reject” given equal weight, and nothing set until you've said yes. You'll be able to change your mind at any time from the link at the bottom of every page.
Controlling cookies yourself
Your browser's settings let you see and delete what websites keep, and block it. The ICO explains how.
The company that hosts this website
Google delivers this website's pages, and may record technical details of each request, such as your IP address, to deliver them and keep them secure. That isn't a cookie; our privacy policy covers it.
